Blogmas 4: Christmas music

04 December 2015

Hello!

Christmas music is one of the best things about Christmas. You walk into a shop and you hear 'and the bells were ringing out for Christmas day' and your heart fills with festive spirit! (Unless you're the shop floor employee who has heard that same song 50 times over in a 6 hours shift, a feeling I totally understand after a certain little tree kept getting set off at my last place of work...)

Just today, I walked into Primark in Glasgow and I started singing away to 'All I want for Christmas is you', one of my favourite songs at this time of the year!

I don't just enjoy the classic songs though! I like anything that's a little bit cheesey! Like Barbie Girl or Hey Mickey! The kind of songs you get at the Christmas Parties and Ceilidhs!

Christmas is a time of joy and coming together, so here are a few of my favourites for this time of the year (all are linked for your enjoyment!)
  1. All I want for Christmas is you
  2. White Christmas
  3. Last Christmas
  4. Hey, Mickey!
  5. Fairy Tale of New York
  6. Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree
  7. Enchanted
  8. Shake It Off
  9. Starships
  10. Merry Christmas Everyone (Skip to 00:54 for the song)
  11. Mistletoe and Wine
  12. Winter Wonderland
So... There you go!
Comment below a couple of your favourite Christmas songs, and what other kind of song just gets you feeling really happy if not festive.

I'm going to try and get two posts up tomorrow so keep an eye out for that! One will be about my travel with THY and the other will be my Blogmas day 5 post!

Until next time, be excellent to each other.
