Colon 2 | Hotel Review

29 May 2018

Hello!

Last week I wrote a post about my experience with TUI, and I mentioned that I was going to write a post about the apartments we stayed at. The TUI post itself was quite a long on and I thought this would be a better way to shorten, or break up the posts for everyone. I didn't write anything about the apartment I stayed at in Lanzarote but I was really impressed by Colon 2, so thought I'd write a little something.

A Review-y Of TUI

22 May 2018

Hello!

I recently took a family holiday to Tenerife with my mum, brother, grandad and uncle in order to celebrate both my grandad's 75th and my uncle's 50th birthdays. Last time I flew to the canary islands was to Lanzarote with Thomas Cook, but this time I flew with TUI.

A Little Talk About Pizza Hut

10 February 2018

Hello!

As I'm sure you all know, I am vegetarian, and the lovely Morag is vegan. I'm sure you're also very aware of my love of pizza, so imagine my delight when Morag invited me along to Pizza Hut with her to try the new Vegan cheese, as she was gifted vouchers! (This is not a sponsored post, these vouchers were gifted to Morag and she simply invited me along with her. All opinions are my own and are not biased.)

Vapiano Glasgow | Restaurant Review

06 February 2018

Hello!

The bagettes and I (minus Jack) finally reunited recently for a few hours in Glasgow. We rarely see each other any more because of work commitments and life in general getting in the way, which is really sad. Racheal finished work a bit later in the day, so Robin and I spent a few hours wandering around Glasgow (I may have hugged a few Stitch teddies in the Disney store) before we were joined by her. We all decided that we were quite hungry, so it was time for food. What's better than catching up over food?!

Pizza Punks | Review

03 June 2017

Hello!

A couple of weeks ago, I went to Pizza Punks with Morag after we went to the She Reads Comics event at Forbidden Planet, Glasgow. Now, I really, really like pizza, and I've been to Pizza Punks once before and I really liked it. Morag has also ordered deliveries from them for a while, and we were struggling to think of where we could go together for food we both like and can eat, so this seemed like the perfect option.

Professor Brian Cox Live | A Review?

23 May 2017

Hello!

I have a confession to make. I'm a giant freaking nerd. There, I said it. Science is, and always has been, one of the things that has absolutely captivated me. I remember when I was younger, my brother got given a telescope as a present and I was extremely jealous, but also joined him and my dad while using it to look at the moon - and one of my most vivid memories of this time was looking at the moon and seeing these string like ... things bouncing about. ALIENS!!!! I thought.

It was my hair.

Megabus Gold (Belated) Review

30 November 2016

Hello!
So. This is a post that I've had planned for a while. It was meant to go live in February, but I'd lost my SD card with all my pictures on it... Then I found it again a few while ago so I thought to myself 'ya know what? I'll just write the post now!'... Promptly forgotten about again for a few months. I SWEAR THE NEXT POST I UPLOAD WILL BE A NEW ONE.

This hasn't been sponsored at all, I just thought that it would be something nice to add to my aspiring little travel blog. Ready? Let's go!

Cocktail Class At River House Stirling | Review

27 May 2016

Hello!

On Sunday, myself, and couple of bloggers (Lauren and Ashley) were invited along to the River House in Stirling for an evening of cocktail making and a meal, who could say no?!*

I've never made cocktails before, and when I drink I don't always drink very much so I've never had very much experience with cocktails (except my ultimate favourite; a long island iced tea!) However, two of my friends work as bar tenders, and I thought it would be nice to find out what it's like to try it out.

This post might be moderately photo heavy, however I will be posting all photos on my Facebook page if you want to check them out! I'll endeavour to have them all up shortly after this post goes live, though it might be Saturday.

I'd never been to the River House before. I'm not from Stirling, I'm from the town right next door, but upon arrival I was taken aback by just how incredible it looked. First impressions count, and they definitely hit the nail on the head. They're sat right next to a beautiful little loch, and at the foot of Stirling castle which is perfect for those sunny days where you feel like sitting outside and admiring the scenery with a glass of wine.

Harley Quinnspired | Comic Book Review

19 April 2016

Hello!

So.... For years I said that I wasn't going to read comics. Ever. Not because they were crap or anything, but I have the kinda personality where if I start something new, especially if its seen as 'nerdy' then I tend to get hooked on it. And I spend all my money on the thing... Yeah.. But then I was in town and I thought to myself 'okay, there's a comic book store here. I'm just gonna do it.'

Yeah. I now have maybe 20 comics. It's been just over a month. Most of them as Superman ones, but then I decided that because I've been dying to see Suicide Squad and I know that Harley Quinn is a character I'll really like (I think I'm a lot like her, which is why I've avoided her for so long) that I was going to by a Harley Comic.

Noughts & Crosses Series | Book Review

16 April 2016

Hello!

I promised y'all a book review in this post and this is exactly what you're gonna get! So for this week, I have sat and read 4 books. Two of those books also featured a short story. I repeat again, it's been a week. A week. This has been the most I've read in a long time, I was staying up until nearly 4am at some points because I was so gripped to it!

The Church | Chester

14 November 2015

Hello, hello!

So last week there was no blog post posted on here last week because I was flying halfway across the world to the beautiful country of SINGAPORE.  But more on that next week.  This week, I wanted to talk a little bit about a restaurant that I visited with the lovely +hxanou in Chester, called The Church.

Hannah has done a review of The Church already which you can all take a look at by clicking here ...have you done that?  Okay good.  let's get on with this then!

31 May 2015

Hello!

Until my lovely friend hannah reminded me, I had totally forgotten to tell you all about my 21st birthday!

But that's okay because that's exactly what I'm going to do today! Sort of...

I want to talk a bit about the lovely Holley Tea Time!

Ed's Easy Diner

01 May 2015

Hello!
Okay so for like ages I was desperate to go into this diner because it looked really inviting and interesting. I know there are several located around the uk, but this particular one is in Glasgow, located in the food court at St Enoch's center.
I've been three times now and thought 'hey, maybe I should write a blog post about this place!' So....
