Pokemon Trainer Harley Quinn

10 August 2016

Hello!

So many new and wonderful films are coming out in recent months, and if you know me through twitter then you'll know I've been super duper excited about the recent release of Suicide Squad - featuring the first live action appearance of the wonderful Harley Quinn. (EDIT 25/8/16 this is not the first live action Harley but is the first cinematic performance.)

I won't post any SS spoilers in this post, but I will say that I got so excited that I asked my friend Ross if he could help me out with a photoshoot to celebrate the occasion.

However, before I go any further I do want to clarify that this post does contain a paid for link.*

I decided that because Suicide Squad was due to be released, which it has now officially been, that I would add more to my 'Harley Quinnspired' idea. This time I thought it would be interesting to see if I could do one as if Harley was trying to become the very best, like noone ever was... Or perhaps just wandering around playing Pokemon Go. It was a very basic and vague idea, but because I knew I'd need a hand with it, as this wouldn't be in a fairly secluded place like my last one was, Ross could give me a hand, because although he's great at music, he's also not too shabby at taking snaps!

So we met, then after I bought some superglue from the poundstore (one of my shoes began talking) we headed off to the local park to take some snaps.

Then I thought it would be a good idea to wander into the woods to find the local mausoleum. We got a bit lost.. because my navigation wasn't top notch... But after Siri wouldn't let us work out where we were, I decided that opening up pokemon go was the way to go! (The mausoleum is a pokestop!)

It turned out that we were actually pretty nearby, and so after I needed a little help to go off path (always bring flat shoes as back up!), we finally reached our destination.

I relaxed a little more and so we got some amazing snaps!

I had a lot of fun doing this photoshoot and it was nice to be able to spend some time with a friend I hardly get to see. I want to do more Harley Quinn things, perhaps one day I'll have a proper cosplay!

Later that night I got to go and see the film. I went with my friend Andrew to the midnight screening. He had a Cineworld Unlimited Card which means that while I had to pay for my entry to the film - HE DIDN'T! He also got a discount when he bought food from the desk.

The benefits of a Cineworld Unlimited card include;

I'll see you all again really soon! I'm still working out a new schedule, I will be back regularly ASAP!

I'll leave you with a few more photos.

Let me know if you get the Cineworld Card!
Until next time, be excellent to each other.
*The arrangement of this post was that a certain number of link clicks would entitle me to recieve revenue. This has not been the case, but irregardless, this will remain as such.
